STUDENT LEAD TEACHERS
Rez Dance Student Leads are dedicated dancers who are advancing through our intern program. With a strong foundation in both dance technique and leadership, they serve as role models for their peers. Passionate about worship and committed to growing in their artistry, our student leads bring energy and mentorship to the classroom as they prepare for their future Lead Teacher Role.

Brynlee P.

Brynlee has been dancing with Rez Dance since 2012 at the age of 5 years old. For the first 3 years of her dance career she only studied ballet. After loving ballet she then decided to try something new and took her first Hip Hop class. Between the ages of 8-14 she competed in gymnastics at Windsor Gymnastics Academy. That's when she found her other interest in tumbling and further sparked her love for dance. Since then Brynlee has taken Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, and Jazz classes. Brynlee has been a part of the Rez Dance outreach team since 2021. Through that she has performed and served at many outreach events within the church and community. Brynlee has been on the competition team for the past 3 years and is currently the captain of her team. Through her experience competing she received an Excellence Award at Sheer Elite International. As well as a choreography award with 3 other teammates for self choreographing a small group piece. In 2021, Brynlee began to assistant teach with our younger dancers. This further ignited her passion for teaching, and this year she was asked to step into a student teacher role. She pours out her extensive knowledge of both tumbling and Hip Hop to her students. All while passionately teaching her students that the joy of the Lord is their strength!

When she was just 11 years old, she auditioned for and was accepted onto the Rez Dance hip hop company, Jericho. It was on this team that her love of Hip Hop really came alive. The following year, in 2018, she was invited to join the outreach company Chara. She has remained on the Rez Dance outreach team since that time. In 2022, Kylie started competing for Rez Dance. Her and her team have won many awards, including number one dance routine at Sheer Elite in 2023 and at Legacy in 2024. She has been trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Worship, Musical Theatre, and Tap. Her favorite dance style is Hip Hop because of the freedom the movement can bring. Kyile also has the honour of being 24/25 Rez Dance Student Intern. She has been teaching students at Rez Dance since 2018. She loves seeing her students light up when they finally master something new and hopes they find joy in dancing each day. When she is not dancing Kylie loves reading, drawing, acting, and hanging out with family and friends.
