Staff & Teachers

Rez Dance teachers, assistants, and helpers are held to a high standard of excellence in their classes as well as personally. Each one of our staff has a heart and passion for using dance to bring glory and honor to Jesus through excellence in technique, morality, and creativity. It is our mission to bring freedom and life to our students while showing and teaching them the pure joy of dancing unashamedly before our God.

Miss Dana

Dance Director / Teacher

Dana has been with Rez Dance since Fall of 2011 and has a huge love for worshiping our Lord with dance. In 2008, when she learned that “dance ministry” existed, she knew beyond any doubt, this was what she was made to do.

She began dancing at the age of five, focusing on ballet and then took gymnastics for four and a half years. Starting at the age of 11, she concentrated on dance, specializing in ballet and lyrical, with modern, jazz, and hip hop. She studied dance at the Greeley Conservatory of Dance and also danced with UNC and the Colorado Dance Theater. Later on, at the age of twenty, she focused on hip hop and danced with an adult performing troupe in Boulder for two years.

In high school, she worked with Life Choices Pregnancy Center in Longmont as a Teen Advisor, encouraging peers to choose abstinence until marriage. Being a teacher with Rez Dance has enabled Dana to continue to encourage and mentor girls for Christ in using their bodies to bring Him glory. Today she finds great fulfillment in leading Rez Dance, teaching all ages, instilling a love for dance, and more than anything, helping others step into the realm King David lived in – unashamed dance worshiping our Lord and bringing glory to Him.

Jessica didn’t think much of it, as she didn’t realize that such a group existed. Then, she found out about Rez Dance. What an amazing opportunity to grow one’s relationship with Christ and to praise Him from the dance floor!

Jessica and her husband enjoy playing in the great outdoors with their three young children.

Teacher Assistant

Bethany started dancing ballet when she was three and danced on a competitive team throughout high school. She always saw herself dancing for Jesus in her mind when she worshipped Him, but thought that dance was something in her past and would no longer do. She came as a new Rez member to watch the “Red” concert and just knew that this was the kind of dancing she always saw in her head when she sang to Jesus. Now Rez Dance is a huge part of her life and her relationship with God.

Bethany loves to have dance parties in the morning with her two children, and she homeschools them both. She also loves to hike, bike, and do anything outside.

Miss Maggie

Teacher Helper

Maggie has been with Rez Dance since 2014 but she has been dancing since she was 4 years old. After dancing at other traditional studios, she found dance ministry and realized what she has been missing all these years… worshiping God and spreading His love through dance.

After Maggie fell off her horse in 5th grade, she broke her back and could no longer do the things they expected her to do at other studios. She was devastated. That’s when she walked into her first class at Rez Dance and felt as if she was finally home. Being in a new environment relaxed her and allowed her back to heal, and with prayer she is currently almost completely healed.

Maggie is currently a freshman attending Resurrection Christian School and learning more about who she is in Christ every day. Her number one goal is to make every dancer feel loved and welcomed and to help each and every one of them to more understand who THEY are in Christ as well.
